Der Ursprung des Camiño dos Faros, oder auch Leuchtturmweg gennannt, war eine private Initiative von vier Freunden, die alle Leuchttürme der Costa da Morte an der nordwestspanischen Küste zwischen Malpica und Finisterre verbinden wollten. Der Weg der Leuchttürme beziehungsweise der Camino dos Faros verläuft entlang der Küste Galiciens (Costa da Morte) und verbindet die Rías Altas und die Rías Baixas sowie die kantabrische Küste und die Atlantikküste.. Un camino que tiene el mar como mayor protagonista y que pasa por todos los faros y principales puntos de interés de esta Costa da Morte. Er startet in Malpica und endet am Kap Finisterre (oder umgekehrt) und ist etwa 200 Kilometer lang. 200 km von Malpica im Norden Galiciens zum Kap Finisterre. Das dos Faros verfügt über einen Balkon und Flussblick. Die Unterkunft bietet Zugang zu einer Terrasse und kostenfreie Privatparkplätze. Einen Weg, den ich bisher noch nicht gegangen bin, der aber auf jeden Fall noch auf meiner Bucket List steht, ist der „Camino dos Faros“ – der Weg der Leuchttürme.
